Comics

These are a couple of comics I read. I'll try and get more up there, such as X-men, (I don't read it but I used to watch the tv show, I know they are both really different, but anyways..) and so on. A little about ElfQuest

Well, this comic title is pretty self explanatory. It's about Elves set out on a Quest, pretty much. It sounds vague and boring, but in fact it turns out to be quite interesting. It starts out by explaining how the elves got to be on this planet, and their relations with humans. The first 2 elves(out of the main characters) you meet are named Skywise and Cutter, "brothers in all but blood". They and their tribe will soon be sent on an adventurous quest to find other elves, and survive the humans' wrath.

A little about Spawn

I haven't been keeping up with this comic, I've fallen behind somewhat.. I'm only in the 40's. Anyhow, I can give you a very basic outline on it. It's about a man named Al Simmons, he died and gave his soul to the devil, thus the devil can now toy with his life. He gave his soul over to be brought back to life in order to see his wife Wanda, but the Malbolgia(the devil) puts him back 5 years after his death, and with no memory, in the form of a hellspawn. Under his "costume", he looks like a rotting corpse. His "quest" is to find out who he is, and fight what he should have avoided in the first place, Malbolgia.

A little about X-Men

I haven't ever read this comic, but I used to watch the show.. (which isn't aired here any more) But I can tell you what I know! Though I've been told that the show did the comic no justice.. The X-men are a group of mutant men and woman, who fight for the safety of other people and also for mutant rights.. (or something of the sort). You see, mutants are not welcome among normal humans.. they are considered as outcasts.. (please correct me if I'm wrong in any of these paragraphs or if you have something to add). That's basically it.
